Offerings
Sometimes, it can be challenging to access our feelings in words. Music can be a powerful way to bypass blocks and experience true healing and newfound understanding.
The music in our sessions may vary from week to week. We may listen to live or recorded music, sing along to a familiar song, play, improvise, or create songs (or music) together. As your therapist, I will reflect, share, and support you in both words and music.
You may be a musician or music therapist looking to rekindle your relationship with music, find joy, or expand your creativity. You may be a creative individual: a musician or a music therapist, an artist, an actor, a poet, or a dancer seeking to connect to your creative self through various artistic mediums.
You may be considering therapy to:
Decrease anxiety
Relieve symptoms of depression
Navigate parenting issues
Live (well) with mental illness
Increase a sense of wellness and well-being
Explore all aspects of your identity, such as gender, sexual, racial, religious, or socio-economic
Manage chronic pain related to illness or injury, including living with long Covid
Here are some additional ways I can help:
I can provide guidance and encouragement as you pursue educational or professional goals.
I can provide support and resources as you explore the complex and challenging emotions related to infertility and the adoption process.
I can help you explore aspects of grief and bereavement in a gentle and supportive environment
